Surge for iPhone is now on the App Store, and it’s spectacular.

Surge for iPhone is a trifecta of awesomeness: gorgeous design, state-of-the-art features and functionality, and equity for your taps. Each navigation event that you log or import builds your ownership stake in User Cooperative.

Approved by Apple.

Every app on the App Store goes through App Review first. Reviewers at Apple install the app, use it, and check it against Apple’s App Review Guidelines, its rulebook for safety, performance, design, and privacy. Does the app work as described? Does it disclose what data it collects and how that data is used? Does it ask before touching anything personal? Does it hold up? If not, it doesn’t ship.

Surge passed. That’s a testament to our code, our security, and the user-owned framework at Surge’s core: a browser that tells you exactly what it logs and gives you equity for it.

That makes Surge the first user-owned browser on the App Store. It cleared the same bar as every app you already trust on your iPhone.
